Would you believe I had a horrible time flying in Caledon until I figured out how to open the box with the ladies' walking suit, because I did not want to flash anyone!
Can you work on appearances while camping? I know there was a coffee shop where you could chat while camping, but some of the camping pads are secluded enough that I wouldn't feel like I was ignoring others.
Of course - remember, I sent out that e-mail about using avvies as models for script illustrations, so we won't be limited to whatever Google scrapes up? We've just still got to cast the twins, that's all. I think he and Klaus have the same skin tone, and I think I've got good eyes for him, but I haven't started his shape at all. The Baron's been too demanding.
You can rez underpants, y'know. Or do you?
Did Kara tell you how clothing has three layers? The period-types get clever and will combine a shirt and accessories on the underwear layer so the waistcoat can be on the shirt layer, and the jacket on jacket - but there's loads of possibilities.
I don't know about the 'rules' for camping - I'm Bruce Wayne-ing my SL money. I figured I don't have time otherwise. I think as long as you're present on the property, it doesn't matter much what you're doing... considering what some of the sex clubs have going on. [shudder] The depths of tacky take form in-world.
A Lucky Chair is a promotional device where it randomly selects a letter of the alphabet for a specified period of time; if your name starts with the letter, when you sit in the chair during that time period, you get a prize. I got some good hair that way (although I was shopping there anyway). The idea is, if your prize is good enough, people'll come back just to check on the chair and drive up your numbers. Higher numbers give you better search placement in some indices.
The problem is I tried to make them drawers, and couldn't get them to cooperate.
I don't know if Kara was there when the wing box as'ploded on me, and I ended up starkers in front of a main display. I'm trying to think of a good way to instruct.
Bruce-Wayning? Inheritance or investment?
Does a Lucky Chair have a standard appearnce? Does it tell you it is Lucky? (Does it lie?)
They don't fluff well, layers, no. Is a problem. For fluff, you need prims, and then there's different issues there. Just make them long and plain for now, we can find some nice trim texture later.
'Wing box'? 'As'ploded'? Meep. This is why you TELL people when you've arrived, dear.
Inheritance-like, shall we say.
Oh, dear, they shout they're Lucky at the top of their inanimate lungs, really. You can hear them through most of the store (any given store). The only standard is that they have the letter prominently displayed, and usually an image of the prize above. They're mostly straight chairs, very simple design. Miss Tombola has one - I think she has particoloured tights in it right now.
Well, the freebie box had something in the range of six or seven styles of wings, and instead of copying them to inventory, I was inaccurate with the mouse and hit "open and wear". It was about two hours past my bedtime, aiija...
So the directions I received for the shop with the lucky chair were probably backwards, and I traipsed through someone's parlour. I am glad there was no-one there. *^_^*
Okay, the person to person thing kinda surprised me, I didn't know it was able to be a person as well as a shop.
A horse or a house? I got no place to keep a horse, unless this is one of those weird "I got a hole in me pocket" horses that I can pull out of my... ear in SL. 8P
Horse. More true than you know, actually, and with the original body part you were thinking. I got a G.C. pending Miosa helping me decide which breed, and it may be unusable by me. It's you or the Equites Fund over at the Legio, if I can't.
You have less place to put a house, I have no land yet. I'm waiting for the list for Caledon Cymru, then we can all watch my head 'splode as several different personae fight over who gets to decorate.
Technically? An attached vehicle. But correct, not an avatar. Those are elsewhere. BTW... what's your favourite colour of Jell-O?
That is an excellent question that I can't answer. I know one of the lady-diarists of Caledon has mentioned her mother in this sort of context, and the whole world just finished up a prolonged fundraiser for cancer (look for 'SL Relay for Life' references), but pink ribbon specifically? That's worth researching.
I don't like the exchange rate for going out of SL for a fundraising shop, but if we were to arrnage for a clothing shop where any time someone picked up a free clothing item, it would count as a click on the website, that might be cool, and we might even be able to expand to the rest of the causes in that niche.
Lime, check. Mandarins don't appear to be a specific option, though, but anything's possible.
Dunno about an arrangement like that - the BreastCancerSite.com works on advertising views, after all. There should be some other way, though, to get that to work.
Oh! Idea! Dame Lapin Paris just got knighted for her SLRFL work. Do a search for her in-world and drop her an IM asking about pink-ribbon vendors and such. That'd be a good place to start.
Tchah, I keep forgetting. I can't find the sugar-free blue anymore, not since they decided it was a 'kid flavour' which means 'juvenile sucrose poisoning allowed'. Marshmallow's'd be even harder.
The colour is actually the most important part -- blue raspberry with a hint of blueberry and something tropical would be just about perfect, I think. Maybe?
Yes, but it must have some effect on a young man's (or woman's??) outlook on life, to be constantly addressed, at every family reunion, by everyone, as "Hey, Sex!"
