melo_annechen He wasn’t physically uncomfortable. Mentally, it was unnerving if he caught his reflection as he puttered about the lab. “While I am impressed that you have built such a small anti-gravity generator, I’m surprised this thing hasn’t spontaneously combusted.”
“Why is that, love?”
“This blasted halo,” he growled, “is completely out of character.”
She giggled, “That’s not a halo, check the botanical component.”
It took a bit for him to angle his head properly to see what the ring held suspended in the center. “Is that a sprig of mistletgrmph!”
On the other hand, he could get used to it.
