Right, so I'm down to three cigarettes a day, and restarted my Wellbutrin prescription, so I hope I will be able to avoid any further meltdowns on the work-related activities.
I am a little worried, because by flattening out the highs and lows, I don’t get as much writing done. I’m working on 3/5 Ch. 32, and I hope to get it through beta early enough for a Sunday posting, and I think 33 may be close behind. There are still some holes in 34 and 35 is still in the nebulous framework of a woman and her appliances. There’s great lumps in the back of convention stuff, but we have to get there, and
shaenon is threatening to make me work for multiple characters to exist in the future Narbonicverse. My fault for not thinking broadly enough.
On the other hand, my id is trying to convince me I can draw, and has been feeding me portraits of the various characters. The one of Lily and Tommy is cute in a disturbing way, and Arsène will NOT behave.
I think this is going to be a good weekend.

Somebody in fiction talking about staying off their medication (this was somebody who needed a much stronger dose, incidentally) because of creative issues. Movie? TV movie? Blast. Something vivid enough to stick, but long enough ago to wear off the label.
And David Lynch has acknowledged that he's disturbed of a sort. It's fertile ground for goleor of studies, isn't it? People with MPS are usually brilliant and creative — or some of their people are, while others take on other responsibilities.
Me, I think I'm closer to sociopath than would make most people comfortable, and might have been MPS if I'd been stressed that wrongly at an early enough age. But I might just be all pathetic, too. ;)
Hmmm. I think I'm caffeinated.

As I'm fond of saying at work "Daddy was a postal worker, do not try me."
and Caffeine is wonderful with Romanian disco. EEEEEE!
