Birthday Greetings

Today is alfedenzo's birthday, but he is much too busy to read about it.

The loyal minions were clearing the remains of the leviathan that had teleported itself into the lair. Pity the creature had not been powerful enough (or smart enough) to bring sufficient water from its habitat to make it a challenge. It did, however, ink the floor sufficiently that refinishing would be required, if at all possible. Whatever the creature’s intentions, preliminary tests showed it to be sufficiently poisonous that even calamari wasn’t possible. Moreover, the blood was acidic, and had been collected for further study, with tissue samples, to provide years of questions.

It had been an excellent surprise party.
