What? Mama would love to get a GMAC 2-1/2 Ton 6x6 for Mother’s Day! Shoot, she already has every portable power tool I could afford to get her, and she doesn’t have room for the radial cross-cut yet.
Since I can’t manage the truck this year, how about 250 words - a deuce-and-a-half drabble?

In the preparation for defragging the working spaces Madblood noticed an anomaly in the data. “Lovelace? What is taking up so much space in your third alternate server?”
“Nothing, just back up information and save points.”
“Not in that configuration. Bring it up on screen.”
“Very well.” Lovelace brought the program up on his screen.
“Interesting… this is not Charlotte’s work…” the professor mused aloud as he read the code, “It almost looks like my style… Is this yours, Lovelace?”
“Yes.”
“Hm, a little rough yet, but still workable.” He noted the tag ends of code and commented, “I’ll have to get more storage before you continue with this. What was the original task?”
“I thought there might be a need for a stand-alone monitoring system for the lodge when you were not in residence. I was trying to write something smart enough to raise the alert if needed.”
“You’ve been talking to Charlotte too much; her paranoia is rubbing off on you.” He noted to leave the server out of the sweep. “I will order the additional units, but I want you to notify me before you go live with the program.” Madblood said as he closed the station.
“Of course, sir” Lovelace said as he left.
[is he gone]
[Yes, but that was a near thing. He has instructed me to not activate you until he can monitor the process.]
[not ready]
[No, you are not ready yet. You need to stay still, quiet, and monitor.]
[yes mama]
