Minor Issues

If you haven’t guessed by now, I am female. I actually started life that way, so don’t get snarky with me. The whole water closet issue is generally moot at my house, as I am outnumbered. I can handle the seat being in the upright position. Much better than the alternative, I think.

However.

There is the slightly odd feeling I get when I enter the women’s restroom at work and find the seat up. I realize this is due to the cleaning procedures, but still. What if it isn’t the cleaning staff’s fault? Does that mean there is a cross-dresser on staff? One that is so good at it that I haven’t spotted them?

Oh, crap - what if everyone else thinks I’m the transvestite?

So... because your office's cleaning protocol dictates that the seats be left up in the womens' lavvy, you worry that your co-workers might think you're a transvestite.

Kinda makes you want to time your visits after others to see if there is a pattern.

Kinda like seat not up after Val goes, seat is up after Betty goes sort of deal.

Custodial staff is just taught to leave the commode that way after cleaning, unless you're talking specifically about it being down one moment, then up the next. I'd be more inclined to think you have an annie than a transvestite...

I thought this post was going to be way longer than it was. We seem so much alike I thought perhaps you were going to get it all out so all I'd have to do is cut and paste...dammit.
