I got semi-hooked on copperbadge as well, even though he writes R/S - actually, kind of because it, because he manages to make it really... really without wrecking character the way 99% of the puppyshippers do. I've a good bit of catching him up to do, when I get a chance.
I've heard of 'Kelly's Heroes', I think... need a TV first, though. *heavy sigh*
