Sister just called. I may not have mentioned it here, but she has been dealing with interstitial lung disease for the past yeaar. She's on oxygen, and not able to do a lot of things she used to.
She has some tests scheduled in the next couple of weeks, and then a visit to Vanderbilt University for an evaluation for a lung transplant.
A transplant is a pretty big step to take. I work in medical records evaluation, I know this.
The trouble is, even though I am in the process of quitting smoking, Himself and I have smoked in the house this month, so if she needs to stay overnight, she can't do so in our house.
The cats are no problem, but the residual smoke is. So even when my little sister is going through something that stressful, I can't help by giving her a place to stay.
Maybe It can work out, depending on how soon her evaluation is, but I hope I can convince Himself to not smoke in the house for a while.
