Take another piece of my art...

Look through my userpics - pick out five of them which make you curious and write down their keywords in a comment here. I'll explain the stories behind the images, and then you post this same request in your own LJ.

c'mere, Athena's place, Kung Fu Puppy, canon stomp & pink.

(I didn't read any other comments before postings so if I duplicate, lemme know; either you can choose to get off easy or I can pick others I was curious about.)

c'mere (S. K. Garrity 6/09/05)
A wonderful image from a wonderful story arc in Narbonic. It is a testement to [livejournal.com profile] shaenon's storytelling that although she has kicked Dave out of the lab, I'm still reading the strip.

Athena's place
I occasionally need a thoughtful, or sober icon - Stop laughing, it's happened - and the temple down the road a piece seemed appropriate.

Kung Fu Puppy
Just the image of a preying mantis being all bad-a$$ while the puppy is just curious. I see it as an illustration that the young may destroy us yet.

canon stomp
[livejournal.com profile] shaenon is the only writer whose canon I have misfired with extreme prejudice, but [livejournal.com profile] sff_corgi has been enabling my fist steps to stomp all over Europa Wulfenbach.

pink
The quote is something I remember from the mid-'80's, and for the life of me I can't seem to find the original source. It struck me as the perfect phrase for the emo/fluff writing I sometimes get sucked into.

Oh, so it's my fault, hah?! ;)

A good friend will come to bail you out of jail. A great friend is laughing with you in the holding cell, saying "Dayum, that was fun!"
