“Last Call, Ladies and Gentlemen,” Peter’s baritone rang out, rather earlier than usual, but it was a holiday. He took a few last orders as Moira took the new bartender aside.

She said, “We wanted to give you a better bonus, but the bar hasn’t been open that long. I know you don’t eat, but...” She placed the box in his hands, “It’s a Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte. I hope it’s not too inappropriate…”

2875 shook his head, “I know someone who might appreciate the cake, and I appreciate the thought.”

Which explains why the professor had cake for breakfast Christmas morning.

Well, 50 went up on the first, and 51 will be up by the eighth once I work out the proper introduction, and 52 should be up on the 15th. There's going to be some extra bits, and there may be some short stories later, but I think I'm mainly going to try to focus on original work for the next year.
